Cheap Flights to Portugal or a New Pair of Shoes?
If you were offered a straight choice between some cheap flights to Portugal and a new pair of shoes which would you choose? As much as I am a fan of good quality footwear I have to admit that I would be packing my suitcase quicker than you can say, “Hold the piri piri se faz favour”.
One of my favourite trips away came when I was flicking through the internet one dull Thursday in December and came across some cheap flights to Portugal. The shoe connection comes in because I had saved up some cash from my last wage for some much needed footwear. My toes weren’t quite peeking out at the world yet but there were definitely getting in position.
Well Worth the Money
In the end I chose the cheap flights to Portugal and enjoyed an amazing holiday which I wouldn’t have swapped for a pair of crocodile boots with gold buckles and diamond insets. I spent some time on the beach, ate some amazing food and even picked up a few words of the lingo. As the example at the beginning shows, I didn’t learn the language very well but I hope to go back in a few months to learn some more. Shoe expenses permitting, that is.
